God Our Nature (Why We Cannot Sin)

1 John 3:9

"Whoever is born of God does not go on sinning, for his seed remains in him, and he cannot go on sinning because he is born of God."

John 1:11-13

As God's children, God Himself is our nature, i.e., as the Father is, so are we (Acts 17:26-29). God commands every man everywhere to repent. Verse 29 reveals the Divine Nature of God (Psalm 82:6). We all must own up to the reality that we are children of God. And you must be proud of it and embrace it. What it means to be a son of God is to have the nature of God.

You must put on your identity like a dress—who God has called you and made you. And that's why others can, but you cannot, because you have a destiny, and God is your nature.

Reigning in life is for those who are separated from their brothers. You don't want something different from God. Take the same position with God in obedience. God is your nature.

Matthew 6:33

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

Character is the constituent inherent in a person. 1 John 3:9,

What makes a person a son of God is the word of God sown in his heart, which has become flesh in him (Matthew 13, Isaiah 9:6). You must constantly resist everything that draws you away from God (Psalm 119:11).

The greatest manifestation of God on earth is the word of God (John 1:1). Between the Spirit and the Word, there is no difference (1 Timothy 3:16, 1 Peter 1:23). So we must guard jealously our hearts, for out of them flow the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). We are all God's children; let us keep God's words in our hearts. This is the way to keep us away from sin.

You must make up your mind to wear God's identity very well. Let's not be shy and timid about it. Let's be confident with it and carry it well with dignity and prestige.

The grace that abounds to us is not unto sin but to live godly lives as sons and daughters of God in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.

Romans 6:1-2

1. "What shall we say, then? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound?

2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"
